English Skills FOR LIFE
a real voice, for the real world by suzanne davis
Future-proof Language Learning
The world is changing and the way we teach English at school needs to evolve with it. Little by little the classroom can become a place to introduce the necessary skills which students need to succeed in a world which is increasingly valuing experience and aptitude over pure academic achievement.
Together with my colleagues, I have been designing competency-based projects that focus on developing key soft skills, improving communication while still reflecting the curriculum for English Language Learning. This approach has been proven to motivate students, encourage creativity and help both pupils and teachers develop transferrable skills for their futures.
So go ahead, teachers! Try something a bit different..... you might learn something too!

A little About me...
Hello! My name is Suzanne Davis and I have been living and working in Barcelona, teaching English at businesses, universities and schools for over 20 years.
Teaching has opened doors to other roles and skills I never expected - International conference presenting, event organising, Eramus+ project design, content development, teacher training, department head and student mobility facilitator!
I’m passionate about the importance of educating in soft skills for a world that is increasingly valuing experience and aptitude over pure academic achievement - to help our future global citizens shine alongside the rising dominance of A.I. With motivating projects, encouraging creativity and critical thinking, I aim to help students advance their English whilst developing real-world, transferrable skills to help prepare for successful, bright futures.
